Responsible Manufacturing
At BG Bond, we are committed to protecting the environment and strive to minimize our ecological impact—starting with the production process. At our Beit Guvrin facility, we strictly comply with the Ministry of Environmental Protection’s regulations on air and soil pollution. We reduce the use of harmful substances, incorporate recycled raw materials, and operate advanced water recycling systems. Even our wastewater undergoes treatment to produce water that meets the standards for safe discharge to municipal treatment facilities.
Green Certification for Our Products
BG Bond actively promotes green certification for its products. Most BG Bond products, as well as the majority of SIMPLY paint products, are certified with the Green Label. These water-based products meet the highest green building standards and help reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. The majority of our products undergo Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and 21 of them have already completed the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) process.
Environmental Innovation by BG Bond
BG Bond develops advanced finishing solutions that blend cutting-edge technology with environmental responsibility. Examples include BG Dorbond 405, a flexible, ready-to-use adhesive for large tiles that reduces waste and saves time, and BG Hydro, a durable, water-based paint free of lead and chromates—ideal for wood and metal, especially in children's rooms. Both support healthier living and a cleaner environment.
Infrastructure Upgrade & Energy Efficiency
BG Bond’s new, state-of-the-art powder production plant combines sustainability with technological innovation. Equipped with fully automated machinery, closed production and packaging systems, and advanced carbon emission reduction technologies, the facility meets the highest environmental standards. The result: greater operational efficiency, significant resource savings, and reduced energy consumption.
Wastewater Management Efficiency
At the SIMPLY paint plant, BG Bond implements advanced wastewater treatment to meet strict environmental standards. Wastewater from production is processed through a physico-chemical system that separates sludge from treated effluent.The sludge is managed responsibly, and the purified water is safely discharged to the public system—enabling partial recycling and reducing reliance on external disposal.
Unique Polymer Technology for Sustainable Products
BG Bond’s R&D teams are enhancing formulas and products using the unique polymer technology developed by the startup Super Polymer, a company backed by the Ashtrom Group. The goal: to create advanced, sustainable finishing materials for a wide range of applications. These polymers offer exceptional durability, thermal insulation, and energy efficiency.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
BG Bond uses recyclable packaging, such as paper bags and buckets made with over 30% recycled materials. These reduce the need for virgin raw materials and crude oil. Our packaging labels are applied using IML (In-Mold Labeling) technology, made from PP instead of traditional paper—resulting in fully homogeneous, 100% PP packaging.
